Butter and Egg Days Parade

We have always loved parades. So when we were two months into the negotiation process for the building, and saw that Petaluma had a really good one, it kind of sealed the deal.

For 2024’s Butter and Egg Days, we designed a geodesic egg / disco ball for the occasion, covered it in foil, and put it on the back of a robin-egg blue ‘54 Chevy. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes of the construction effort.

Our Petaluma Butter & Egg Days Parade script, read by announcers: “Later this year the long-vacant Seed Bank will transform from an empty nest into a new community event venue called ‘Hall of the Above.’ This Geodesic Egg is scheduled to hatch there this September. What could possibly be inside? At ‘Hall of the Above’ it is completely up to you!”
